Whole, Fresh Onions

October 22, 2021

FDA and CDC are investigating illnesses linked to whole, fresh onions. We are currently monitoring the onion recall closely. Sendik’s onions are a product of the USA and not purchased from the growers implicated in the recall. All onions sold at all Sendik’s locations are not affected by the current recall.

Hershey’s Chocolate Shell Topping

May 7th, 2021

The Hershey Company is voluntarily recalling a single lot of Hershey’s Chocolate Shell Topping in a 7.25 oz (250g) bottle after learning that 1,700 bottles were incorrectly filled with Heath Shell Topping which is made with almonds. Hershey’s Chocolate Shell Topping products purchased before April 15, 2021 are not included in this recall. No other Shell Topping flavors or products distributed by Hershey are involved in this situation.

Panera at Home Lobster Bisque, Blount Fine Foods

April 20, 2021

Blount Fine Foods announced that, in partnership with the FDA, it is voluntarily recalling a limited amount (a single lot—2,987 cases total) of 16 oz. Panera at Home Lobster Bisque due to potential contamination with an undeclared egg allergen. No other Panera Bread, Panera at Home or Blount products are affected by this voluntary recall.

Sabra Classic Hummus, 10 oz

March 31, 2021

Sabra Dipping Company, LLC is voluntarily recalling 10 oz Classic Hummus because it was potentially contaminated with Salmonella. The recall is limited to 10 oz Classic Hummus produced on Friday, February 10, 2021 between the hours of 6 PM and 12 AM with a “Best Before” date of April 26. Consumers can find the time stamp and “Best Before” date on the top of each package.

Simple Truth, That’s Tasty, Shenandoah Growers Organic Basil

February 11, 2021

Shenandoah Growers out of an abundance of caution, has issued a limited, voluntary recall of approximately 3240 unites of branded fresh cut, packaged, organic basil clamshells packaged at its Indianapolis, Indiana location due to a possible health risk from Cyclospora.

Newman’s Own Pepperoni Pizza

February 5, 2021

Newman’s Own is voluntarily withdrawing 2 Lot Codes of Newman’s Own Uncured Pepperoni Pizza 15.1 oz. 15815B with Best by Dates of SEP 02 21 and SEP 03 21 only. They have been informed that an isolated production run of this product had oxidation of the pepperoni, causing discoloring. There is no health risk to the consumer and this does not affect any other Newman’s Own pizza flavors.

Cottonelle Flushable Wipes & Cottenelle GentlePlus Flushable Wipes

Kimberly-Clark has initiated a recall on a limited number of Cottonelle® Flushable Wipes and Cottonelle® GentlePlus Flushable
Wipes as the bacterium, Pluralibacter gergoviae, was detected during product testing.

Excedrin Migraine, PM & Extra Strength Pain Reliever

Certco is recalling Excedrin Migraine, PM and Extra Strength Pain Reliever due to the possibility of having holes in the bottles supplied by the bottle
manufacturer. There are no manufacturing issues with the caplets themselves, and all other products on the market are unaffected.

Certco is recalling Ronzoni Smart Taste X-Wide Noodles 12oz. Packaging has incorrect ingredient statement and does not declare “egg,” which is a known major allergen. Egg is a main ingredient used in the production of this product.
